Nars 2014

Nars has done it again, with another amazing lip product this time its the NARS High Seize Collection for Spring 2014 which includes the NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Timanfaya (Shown Below) ($25 USD / $30 CAD). This is a limited-edition collection, and will be available February 1, 2014 (JUST A FEW MORE DAYS!!)  at NARS retailers ( On a postive note some of the pieces are available now online). Hoping on the Jumbo lip trend...these are just that...they are  jumbo lip pencils combine the pigment of a lip color, the glossy texture of a lip gloss, the hydrating comfort of a lip balm, um can we ask for more than that...and of course being that it is a lip pencil you have more control and it is really convenient.

Timanfaya- (color shown) is a gorgeous bright orange-red that is perfect for Spring, and Summer and if your too scared of a full red lip, this will work because it is not as dramatic but it is just enough. It applies with full coverage color and lasts beautifully without fading for several hours. I know it gets better and better!

Yes it is a pretty penny, but when you are getting a great long lasting lip pencil that is pigmented, long lasting and combines a lip stick, lip balm, and lip gloss, with out drying. I would say this is worth the pretty penny!

Nars Fall Nail Polish 2013

Hi Beauties,

Today on Beauty I'm going to be talking about Nars Fall Nail Polish 2013 part of the Nars Fall 013 Collection. This collection includes two Nars Nail Polishes ($19 USD/ $21 CAD). These nail polishes will be limited edition so if you love...you might want to grab two! =)

THE SHADES:

FURY- a creamy regal purple
GALATHEE- a cool grey cream

FURY is really gorgeous but very dark, almost looks black in most lighting. If I had to pick my favorite from the two I would say Galathee because it is hard to find a good grey nail polish, and I think Nars nailed it! (pun intended.)

NARS FALL 2013 SINGLE EYE SHADOWS!

The Nars Fall Collection 2013 includes four beautiful single eyeshadows ($24 USD/ $28 CAD) They are quite muted, sophisticated shades. The collection has an array of smoldering hues, and matte textures which makes for an ultra modern yet sophisticated look.

Bavaria is the only Shimmery eyeshadow in this collection, and is a beautiful shade of teal but really needs to be built up to have intensity. If your looking for a very pigmented matte color...then these are not for you. These shadows are sheer to medium coverage. They do seem to blend very nicely and are not drying.

Loving the mermaid tones to these!

Product Alert!

Looks like sometime next month Nars Cosmetics will be coming out with a new concealer, NARS Radiant Creamy Concealers.

They will come in (10) different shades, they are said to be very radiant, full coverage, and crease proof with all day wear!

The (10 shades) will be available for all skin tones, and are fragrance free.The concealers range from light to dark in both pink and yellow undertones. 

The packaging will be similar to Nars Lip glosses as shown in the pic below:

The shades:

Chantilly (Light 1): True ivory for the fairest complexions

Vanilla (Light 2): Tiny cast of pink for fair complexions

Honey (Light 3): Warm peach undertone for light-to-medium complexions

Custard (Medium 1): Yellow undertone for light-to-medium complexions

Ginger (Medium 2): Golden undertone for medium complexions

Biscuit (Medium Dark 1): Medium dark natural balance of pink and yellow undertones

Caramel (Medium Dark 2): Medium dark yellow and golden undertones

Amande (Medium Dark 3): Medium dark with golden olive undertones

Café (Dark 1): Dark with warm red undertones

Cacao (Dark 2): Dark with deep golden brown undertones
