YSL FALL 2013 LIP STICK!

Hello Monday!

Hi Dolls,

Hope you had an amazing weekend, need a pick me up? Well what makes me feel better is getting my mind off of the first day of the week...so lets talk about YSL's new fall 2013 Lip Stick Collection to maybe ease the Monday blues!

The Fall Collection includes four Rouge Couture Lipsticks Priced at ($34 USD/ $39 CAD), Two Classic shades, and two Arty (dark fall) shades. This collection and the textures in this collection are inspired by a strong contemporary women who channels her inner classy uptown bold downtown style when she wants. The collection is online now! Or wait till August 2013...which is around the corner and it will be in stores. =)

The Shades in the Collection:

    1. 50 Rouge Neon: Vibrant orange-red (Classy)
    2. 51 Corail Urbain: Peachy coral (Classy)
    3. 53 Beige Promenade: Natural brown (Arty)
    4. 54 Prune Avenue: Nocturnal plum (Arty)

The formula is very smooth, creamy texture with a glossy finish. Yes it is pricey for a lipstick...but what your getting is great quality and long lasting. I see it as a investment if there is a specific color you know you really want, and know you will be wearing it constantly...well then Get It Girl!

    XOXOXO- N

YSL- Touché Éclat and Maybelline- Dream Lumi DUPE!!!

Ysl's Touché éclat seems to be the most popular luxury highlighter on the market still. It's been out for a while but it is still getting great reviews. Not only is this supposed to be a highlighter for your face but a eye brighter. If your willing to pay the price of ($39) I think it's a great product but I found that a product I already had did the same thing and more!

Now a product that I have tried and love is Maybelline's Dream Lumi concealer and highlighter. The price is also right for ($8)

    Here's some product information-

    Maybelline claims the following...
    "A brighter idea in concealers:
    • Gel-based formula diffuses light to provide on-the-spot perfection in just one touch
    • Illuminates as it conceals
    • Dermatologist, Allergy Tested
    • Non-comedogenic
    • Suitable for sensitive skin and for all skin types"

Here are the pros of Maybelline's Dream Lumi:
    • Dream Lumi concealer and highlighters is more pigmented
    • Blends well into skin and doesn't try to fast, giving u time to put it in the areas you want
    • very illuminating
    • Maybelline carries 6 different shades unlike YSL with a standard 3 shades

    CONS:
    • The only thin I can complain about is the packaging which is great cause who cares what's on the outside its the inside that matters ;)
