Lets talk about Hair Extension Products!

So if you are a girl who wears hair extensions (non synthetic just human hair) then you definitely need this next product I'm going to be talking about!

It is so important to take care of your hair extensions reasons being: 1) They will last you longer 2) They will not look fake when blending in with your own natural hair. Since the hair is no longer receiving natural oils or proteins from the scalp, you need to keep it alive in a sense with products.

Miracle 7- is a  Leave in Mist for Extensions which is a light weight conditioning mist. This is supposed to keep your hair looking new and fresh.

This is what they claim the product to do: 

• Aids in blending of extensions to natural hair
• Protects against UV damage and color fading
• Silicone free & weightless formula
• For human hair extensions

It is also supposed to help reduce frizz and tangles, help against uv damage and color fading. I even read some reviews where girls loved it so much they used it on the ends of their hair! Happy Weekend!!!

Finally the weekend has come! WOO HOO! Happy Dance! (to the left to the left now slide baby silde)

Ok now that is out of my system...I have been having some major Product lusting!!! Known as I read too many reviews about products and watch too much Good Morning America or what ever that show is called really early in the morning that Kathy Lee Gifford is on. Ok well TMI right there!! So I have accumulated quite the lust list (things I want but they are quite the splurge so one at a time)

1) YSL #1 ( ROUGE VOLUPTÉ - Silky Sensual Radiant Lipstick) (Nude Beige) $34.00

Why? Cause I think the color is just the perfect nude which is perfect for every day! Also It has SPF 15 okay you caught me as important as SPF is that is not a reason. I just have heard so many great things about this lip stick that I just had to put it on my list. 

The lipstick is supposed to be very creamy, while radiating color.

2) SOLEIL TAN DE CHANEL BRONZING MAKEUP BASE- #30  $48.00

This is a beautiful cream bronzer that is supposedly supposed to make you look sun bathed and glowing. ( YES DRENCH ME IN THIS!)  What is great about this is it can be worn alone or on top of foundation!

3) Crystaltastic Nails $25.00

I dont know what has happened to me but I'm all about nails at the moment and I just discovered these cute bling bling nail kits at sephora! They are not called Bling bling but they have some Swarovski crystals on them and they are adorable! Sephora

Summer Fashion Trends

If anyone is excited for summer fashion it is...well me!!!

From shorts, crop tops, summer dresses, sandals, wavy hair, high buns, bathing suits, accessories, and the list goes on...Im just loving a lot of what I have been seeing celebs where out during this heat wave. 

Here are some of my favorite! 

 Lucy Hail looks absolutely adorable in this high low dress. What I'm loving is the simplicity to this look.

Vanessa Hudgens is the queen of boho! I love that she is wearing a tie die skirt and a rhinestone crop top, it is so young and fresh that it works! 

Kristen Cavallari wearing a beautiful maxi dress that has side cut outs which makes this look fun and sexy and so summer ready! I absolutely love this dress.

Candice Swanepoel- Looks beach ready in her bikini and scarf wrapped skirt! 

Last Look I love

Jessica Alba- She never surprises me with her amazing fashion cause I know I'm going to expect only but the best from her and she is rocking this maxi and crop jean jacket.

Summer Color

Hello Sunshine =)

So if you read my post previously about hair chalking and how too...well loves there is something easier and better for your hair! YES!!! WHAT? YES!

It is called Water Color Hydrating Color Mask!

Available here>Urban Outfitters and it costs ($24.00) of a $ 4 oz. jar, and it comes 6 vibrant colors.

What they say about this product is that it adds a vibrant, rich and very pigmented color to your hair while while nourshing it with ingredients that are supposed to repair and hydrate your hair. 

How long does it last? Well color fades away after 5 washes and apparently it hydrates through out that whole period! UM AMAZING!!! Another big positive is they do not rub off on clothing!! 

The difference between chalking and this? Well chalking dries up your hair, and this seems like it is a lot easier of a process then chalking!

MAC SUMMER 2013

Happiness is key to life!

The MAC In Extra Dimension Collection for Summer 2013  is out and now online and in stores for (North America) and will be out for all my International loves (May 2013). This collection features three Mac Extra Dimension Skinfinishes. It is limited addition so if you love them...stock up! They run for ( $30.00 USD/ $35.00 CAD). The collection features, blushes, and eye shadows. These are not completely new, since they were in the collection in Spring 2012. However these shades are different, because there two shades in split-pan for.

Texture is smooth, silky. Below are the two available colors at the moment. Double Definition, which features patina bronze and pale gold shades, and Shape The Future, which has  reddish rose and pale pink shades. Both are absolutely GORG! Check out the swatches below!

Hi Gorgeous! Yes you!

Now who says they do not love Yves Saint Laurant? I mean I can understand if someone says they do not love their prices cause well the truth is I do not love their high prices either! As a girl who loves everything from drugstore to high end YSL always makes the most amazing high quality products!

Their summer collection is absolutely amazing! They are having fun when it comes to their colors and textures in this summer collection. They are coming out with 4 different "tri-phase" polishes that miz color. shimmer and shine. It literally transforms your regular nail polish shade to a beautiful iridescent candy coated color. Yves Saint Laurent La Laque Couture Tie & Dye Top Coats they will go for ($25 USD / $27 CAD). Yes ouch that much for a nail polish? But you get what you pay for...and can I add how elegant their packaging is? These will be available to purchase at YSL counters MAY 2013.  

As you can see in the picture above there are three layers to each color! Like a Popsicle! So as you can see the very top layer is a clear top layer, a sheer color in the middle, and an iridescent bottom layer! (ugh loving all the colors)  You can play around with these all you want! It is not your typical sparkle it is noticeable but in a settled way. 

The four shades are:

• Nº 1 Cool Coat: Soft, baby pink
• Nº 2 Pop Coat: Hot pink
• Nº 3 Hip Coat: Purple grape
• Nº 4 Ice Coat: Striking blue

GORG! RIGHT? as you can see the all the nails are painted with YSL nail polish except for the ring finger. The more you apply the more shimmer you are going to get.

Where did you get that tan?

When it comes to tanning as I have mentioned before in posts I'm not one to lay in the sun and bake! So what is a fair/light skinned girl to do when it is bathing suit season and she wants a healthy tan glow?

We buy tanning products!

Sephora just released (finally!!!) Tarte's Brazilliance Skin Rejuvenating Maracuja Face And Body Self Tanner.  ($37.00 USD) 

This is what they say about the product: "The Skinvigorating™ formula includes: maracuja oil, which has been known to replenish, rebuild, and brighten skin’s appearance; vitamin E, an anti-inflammatory emollient that protects against free radical damage; sunflower seed oil, a plant derivative rich in vitamins A and E that helps moisturize, regenerate, and condition the look of skin."

 What is so cute about it, is it comes with a mit so you can kiss streaks and orange palms away! YAY!!

Did I mention it smells amazing!!??!! Well it does! I'm not saying oh it smells amazing for a self tanner smell...I mean it smells like vanilla all the way from applying to drying! 

Since the tanner is tinted it gives a great guide to which spot you have and have not applied to yet.

Over all this is a SUMMER MUST PRODUCT! 

1st Step/Rule- of using self tanners- EXFOLIATE!!!! (I know your tired and dont feel like exfoliating but trust me DO NOT skip this step or you will end up streaky!

2nd Step- Apply evenly one area at a time (CIRCULAR MOTIONS) that way you do not miss a spot.

3rd Step- After applying wait about 10 min or so till dressing (IT TAKES 8 HOURS for tan to DEVELOP) that is why I always recommend doing this before bed!

Coachella/ Music Festivals

Hello =)

As you may all know Coachella is one of the most awaited music festivals of the year in California! People Celebs from all over go to not only see the amazing bands but to show off some seriously amazing fashion! Every detail from head to toe...accessories are a must and now that the first weekend is over, there is still one more weekend to go...and if you are one that is headed to the 2nd weekend and you have no idea what to get! I'm here to help you! There is still have time to get some killer pieces before the big weekend! If your not going this year just remember there is always next year ;) here are some ideas and my pics on some perfect ideas (of what to wear!) for a perfect music festival weekend.

 Alessandra Ambrosio- always does Coachella right!

Fringe bag, big hat, ankle boots, bracelets for days, andhe perfect short dress for the hot weather.

 Kate Boswoth- looks absolutely cute in her matching outfit, easy laid back with the perfect ankle boots and long bag for the complete dolled up boho outfit.

Lilac purple nails

Hello hello :)

Time for some nail polish talk

So lately I have been really into nail polishes I go through a huge faze where I will go nail polish crazy and buy a bunch then lay low while playing up those colors then get bored and buy a bunch more and since its spring and Im feeling bright colors and florals it was time to get some spring summer colors and one color that I don't have and wanted to try was a lilac purple!

So I want into Walgreens and Essie was out of most their nail polishes so I searched till I found Revlon's Enchanting in #220!

It is such a pretty purple that has some shine to it (no glitter).
You can get away with 1 coat! Into pics I have 2 coats on. It dries super fast, which is great for me cause I'm always on the run. This lasts me a good 4 days before starting to chip at the tips! Amaze! I would say this color also works perfect for all fair, light, warm, and dark skin times and thats what I love about this color. Overall I love this nail polish and will be wearing all spring and during summer time!

Hair Hair and more Hair TOOLS!

Have you ever gone to purchase a curling iron and stare at how many different sizes there are and just get confused on what to buy cause your not a 100 percent on what difference the size makes?

Well let me tell you I have and now I am here to make it easier for you!!

This is the 2 inch Barrel Iron! Which is also known as the "bumper" for giving you that full bouncy hair look. I would say this is best for girls with longer hair.

This one actually does not do much of a curl, I would say the 2" is used more when wanting to achieve the flippy hair. ( having the tips of your hair flipped in or out) 

Here is an example of the look you would achieve with a 2" barrel iron.

Now if your looking for a barrel that will give you a more Volume to your Curl you want to go with the 1 1/2" barrel.  again this is going to give girls with longer hair a great curl and girls with medium to short hair a hard time, because it will be hard to wrap your hair around the barrel. 

* note that you do want to set your curls always and I recommend using a heat spray before even using any heat on your hair.

Next is the most popular one of the bunch, only because it is the most popular size you will find and any hair length will work with this Barrel size and that is the 1 1/41" barrel.

I think that this goes great for just any hair length and you can achieve waves, curls, and a great amount of styles with this Barrel.

Now for one of my favorite barrels is the 1" because it gives you that veronica lake Jessica Rabbit look that is so popular right now vintage waves.

How about the vintage look, I always love when celebs show up with a vintage hair do. Its so romantic and can be achieved with the 3/4" barrel. This is going to give you a tight wave/curl depending on how you end up styling it. Best used if your looking to do a vintage up-do.

Taylor Swift 

Now where my curly haired girls at? If you have curly hair close to (Sarah Jessica Parker, Beyonce, or Shakira) this 5/8" Barrel is a must have! Now I fall in this Category easily when I'm  not doing the keratin treatment on my hair. This barrel is perfect when you have those unruly curls that you need to fix or just to give your curls a little touch up.
