Too Faced Lip Injection Color Bomb!

I have something so great for you guys!

Too Faced has come out with a great lip product! This Fall they will introduce a new line of Too Faced Lip Injection Color Bomb! ($21 USD/ $25 CAD) I love love love it already just by the name up it! So what are they exactly? They are tinted lip plumpers to their collection. They will have 6 shades, and each one leaves lips with a sheer hint of shine and color while plumping up the volume of your lips. (plum my lips up please!!! crossing fingers)

THE SHADES:

Candy Burst: Light, warm pink
Coral Pop: Bright, salmon pink
Plump It Up Pink: Hot pink
Eastwood Red: Classic, true red
Bigger Berry: Deep raspberry wine

The Color is quite buildable even though it is just a tint, they go on sheer but can be built up to a medium coverage finish! (+1 for Too faced.) The deeper shades are more pigmented. They are a chubby pencil, which is nice because you can control it easier. It does have a sweet candy-ish scent, which I do not mind. 

The sensation is not painful, but you are going to feel some tingle...and possibly a slight burn but nothing you can not handle. The balms containa ingredient that dilates blood vessels to increase that starts to increase blood flow to the lips...which bam boom bing bang you end up with plumped lips.

I would say the sensation lasts about 30 min until it goes away. (so stay inside the lip-line!!)

Last night was the Video music Awards...which is ever so famous for celebs crazy outfits on the red carpet. When tuning in I was almost positive I was going to cringe more than I did when I saw the outfits of the red carpet.

MAC Indulge Collection Fall 2013

The Mac Indulge Collection for Fall 2013 includes five great Lipsticks ($15 USD/ $18 CAD) in really beautiful neutral shades and great luxurious textures. This collection is now available online and will be available August 22, 2013 for my (North American loves), and sometime in October 2013 for my (International loves).

The Two shades I will be showing you are:

L'oreal Privee Fall 2013 Lipstick Collection

So a post ago or two I talked about L'oreals new star studded collection and, showed a preview of the fall line of nail polish...well ladies hold on to your couches, beds, chairs...etc because today I'm showing you the matching Nail polishes! The 2013 Toronto International Film Festival, L'oreal the official sponer of (TIFF 2013) created a gorgeous, star- studded line up of luxurious Neutral nail colors! ($10.99 CAD) They are all inspired by famous celebs like; Eva Longoria, Jennifer Lopez, Freida Pinto, and Doutzen Koes. The collection has an array of nude lipstick for each celebrity also! This collection will available sometime September 2013, so keep an eye out!  Did I mention their packaging is similar to Nars...which I love!!

The shades:

• The Doutzen Nude: Pale, slightly frosted baby pink
• The Eva Nude: Warm, mid-tone nude
• The Freida Nude: Cool, mid-tone violet nude
• The J.Lo Nude: Light, neutral beige

Note- They were pretty sheer! Kind of like a glaze lipstick...so much that it was translucent enough to show your natural lip color through...so :/ kind of a bummer if your looking for pigmented lipstick. They are universal so it is easy wear! They do feel great on the lips though, and if your looking for a light lip-stick then this is right up your alley!

I love it for a total day look, where there is a little something but not overdone!

Loreal Paris Collection Privee Nail Polishes!

So I'm a big fan of L'oreal, and in celebration of the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival, L'oreal the official sponer of (TIFF 2013) created a gorgeous, star- studded line up of luxurious Neutral nail colors! What I love about this collection is they come in a special-edition package! Slim black bottle with fold detailing, that has each celebs signature on the tube. 

The shades include…

• The Doutzen Nude: Pale, sheer baby pink
• The Eva Nude: Deep, espresso brown
• The Freida Nude: Mid-tone, warm taupe
• The J.Lo Nude: Cool, mid-tone grey

All the nail polishes are creamy, with shiny textures. The most sheer I would say is Doutzen! The others were rich in color and have an easy application.

What is great about each of the nail polishes is they match the lipsticks!

Travel in Style!

Hi Loves!

So lately I have been thinking about how much traveling I have done, from seeing family, to little vacations with my hubby! I love to travel, and when I think about how I travel, and when I see celebs "outfits" when they travel- Heels, skirts, tight clothing it kills me! I mean I love it, I wish I could look like that when traveling...well wait I can! so can you!!!

Here are my top tips of how to look your best when traveling while being comfortable!

Good Afternoon Fashionable Passengers! This is your Captain Speaking, me and my crew welcome you aboard the flight; Nadine will be coming around to offer you beauty and fashion advice for your trip. We ask that your seats are in a comfortable position before we start. Please feel free to use all personal electronic devices, which include laptops, cellphones, and any other electronic you would like, Until then, sit back, relax and enjoy! okay okay lets get to the point right?

Looking  stylish while having a 3 hour long layover at a airport wearing "resort wear" is not something, I would want to be doing. That does not mean you have to compromise looking stylish traveling. When there is a will there is a way...right?

When I know I'm about to travel and get things ready, especially the outfit I'm going to wear, I ask myself two things:

1) Is this comfortable enough? You want to remember you are going to be dragging luggage, sweeping past people who do not have 10 min to get to there gate on time before they miss there flight. Dodging small children, and making sure you stop and go to the rest room before your flight, because last thing you want is to get on the plane and have to go! LOL This is important, so keeping all that in mind...flat shoes, light accessories, and loose fitting/ flowy tops, are the way to go.

2) Are they going to stop me?) Security! Yes! The last thing you want is to go through security wearing a bunch of jewelry and laced up shoes that take you forever to take off and on. Why? because you are going to be so uncomfortable, and people behind you are going to be super pissed off! Try Slip on flats, and when it comes to jewelry have them packed away in a zip lock in your purse and when boarding the plane slip them on ;) I love to wear leggings and a cute over-sized flowy top or a flowy maxi dress...even a maxi skirt will do! Avoid stiff non stretchy materials.

*A great way to have fun with your outfit is your handbag!! Carry a handbag with a pop of color!
*A great hat as well...get yourself a fedora, from winter fedoras to summer they look great all year long!

HAPPY SATURDAY!

Time for some more Mac makeup. The Mac Viva Glam "the original collection for Fall 2013" is re-promoting the Original Viva Glam Lipstick ($15 USD/ $18 CAD) they are taking it back to the one that started it all back in 1994! This lipstick is a Matte texture, and like all Mac lipsticks glides on the lips smoothly. It lasts for hours, and is not drying at all. Did I mention the pigmentation is great? Well it is! This does not sink into your lip lines either! If you want a little extra pop I would add a gloss on top!

Mac Indulge Eye Shadows Fall 2013

Hi loves!

So Continuing with Mac's Fall 2013 collection is their eye shadows! They come in a varitey of gorgeous and my favorite fall tones! Jewel tones, with luxrious textures...what more do we want in an eye shadow? Well look no further I will be showing you 2 of the 8 in the collection. They will be available online in 2 days!!  The two shades I will be showing you are Eat, Love...(how cute are the names...that is a deep emerald green with a silver Sparkle to it.) Palace Pedigreed, a deep plum (lusting!!) These both have a very (Satin) texture which can be a little on the drying side so be sure to wear some primer under, so no patchiness happens! You know what I'm sayin? (voice of boy from the movie We Are The Millers) As for Pigmentation it is build-able!

I think these are perfect Fall/ Winter Shades!
