Sometimes when there all different kinds of brands and colors of lipsticks it is hard to choose which color to go for. It is a total lipstick overload sometimes. So here is a little guide to help you choose which color to go for.
The main thing is do not be afraid to wear a statement/ Bold lip!
THE NUDIST: There is something that is so elegant about a nude lip that just shows an effortless beauty. Whether your taking a day off from your regime beauty routine, or wanting all the focus to go to your smoky eyes. Nude lip is the way to do it! Nude lips are so powerful.
Be aware when choosing what type of nude! You want to make sure it is atleast one shade darker than your skin. Another tip dry lips tend to show most with a nude color so make sure there is no chappedness showing! Also play up those eyes as much as you want!
There’s something to say about a nude lip and it’s “i’m effortlessly beautiful.” Whether you’re taking a day off of your normal beauty routine, or allowing all the attention to focus on your gorgeous sultry smoky eye, nude lips ARE powerful. Be attentive when choosing your colour; make sure it’s at least one shade darker than your skin tone. And please, if you’re lipped are chapped: FIX IT or stay home! Do play with other features of your face- try a little extra black mascara on your lower lashes w/ some falsies (always falsies!!) and define those brows! The nude lip is always in style!
The Classic Red: When it comes to the infamous red lip I'm pretty sure every women/ girl out there would wear a red lip all the time at any location. What is the trick? well keeping the rest of the makeup very subtle. Red is not and never should be limited to a specific occasion. The tip is finding the right one that fits you! Like they say, "Find the right red lip and you can rule the world." If your unsure of what red fits you take advantage of a beauty expert to match the right one for you!
Going Dark and Vamp: Now that fall is around the corner darker colors also start coming out especially the burgundy colors, dark oxblood, brown, and deep purple. Yes they can be risky and a bit scary, but once you have tried it and you have found the color that works best for you then you might just want to spread your complete and utter dark side to others around you. Start with a plum and explore! Remember if you decide to go explore the dark side, a dark lip needs a extra defined brow.
Brights & Neons: The most fun of them all in my opinion. They need no introduction, they scream Your Fun, and a fashion forward women! People usually feel they can never pull it off, but the thing is YES YOU CAN!! Wearing a neon lip can be a bit tricky, but if you play the rest of your face down with light makeup then you should be at ease! When wearing any bright neons remember one thing must stand CONFIDENCE!! Oh and add some gloss! ;)
