Tarte Cosmetics Has Jumped on the bandwagon!

Looks Like Tarte Cosmetics has decided it was time for them to make a BB cream!

What is a BB Cream? BB Cream stands for Blemish Balm, or Beauty Balm. BB cream is promoted by companies as a "all-in-one" cosmetic product, meaning it is a product to replace sunscreen, serums, moisturizer, primer, and foundation. It can be worn alone as a tinted moisturizer, or like a foundation.

Now that we just that out of the way the BB Cream that tarte has come out with can be used as a primer or a foundation.

Its really not a BB cream as it claims to be it is more of a primer, I guess they call it BB cream for the reason that BB cream is supposed to prime and perfect the skin which it does! It is quite similar to Benefit The Porefessional, however Tarte does give some seriously great coverage. The (4) Shades are a good range for any one to find the perfect match.

For a girl who has dry skin like I do, I would recommend using your serums and moisturizer before applying. This is the perfect BB cream/primer for summer cause it can be worn alone or under foundation, but personally alone would be just right for summer!

Eat Pastry's Cookie Dough (Whole Foods)

Now anyone that knows me will know that I have the biggest sweet tooth, especially when it comes to chocolate chip cookies!

Trying to be healthy and a right state of mind is hard when all you want to do is eat cookies, and brownies and anything with chocolate. Until I discovered I can!

I was walking around our local whole foods and I found a refrigerated vegan cookie dough in the cutest plastic container!!!

Eat Pastry's Vegan cookie dough is soo good you forget that your eating an all organic product! I tried the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, lets just say my husband ate more than 1 cookie! The best part about Eat Pastry's refrigerated dough is, all I have to do is take it out put it on a cookie sheet and bake!

Evian Facial Spray

While we we wait for winter to be over and spring to start...I thought why not do a product that will get us in the spring mood to have you ready for the warmer weather to come!

When it comes to facial sprays there are many out there but I decided to try this! I picked a 2 smaller sized bottles (SET) at sephora to try it out and see if I liked it! 

I have been using this product for well over a year and I love it! Now your probably thinking um water in a bottle? Yes I know I know but it does so much more than that!

About the product: The product comes in a cute aeresol can with the Evian logo and a pink cap.

The description on the can states: that the spray is supposed to “increase skin hydration by 14%, help to fix makeup, and offer you constant freshness and purity. From the French Alps, Evian natural mineral water has a balanced mineral composition and neutral pH suiting all skin types.” Sephora describes the spray as a “cool mist that re-hydrates skin suffering from overheated air. It also revives your makeup throughout the day and keeps you looking fresh by replenishing that much needed moisture. It removes perspiration, harmful salt or chlorine, and instantly soothes and re-hydrates sun-burned or wind-chapped skin.” It also states that the spray tones the skin.

I love this spray! I used to use Mac Fix + but gave this one a try and now I use it all the time. e When the weather gets warm and I'm out doors, I will pull it out of my bag and spray it all over my face making me feel refreshed and at the same time when you have make up on, and the weather starts to make it fade away spraying this on will help to "liven up your makeup." Not only is it great for the warmer weathers but during winter  when your skin starts to get dry and chapped.

Evian Compared to Mac Fix +: The only differences I saw between the two is Macs is facial spray has a nice scent to it, and you know your going to be paying more for Mac then Evian. I also noticed that Evian did a better job "smoothing out" my makeup during the warmer weather did not leave my makeup looking cakey. 

I loved it so much I gave one to my husband to use!

*When purchasing any Facial spray make sure to look for a expiration date!

Overall Thought:  I love this product! Will continue to repurchase! It is something I will carry all the time in my purse, especially when traveling and being in a plane for a while and wanting to freshen up this is perfect.

Looks like sometime next month Nars Cosmetics will be coming out with a new concealer, NARS Radiant Creamy Concealers.

They will come in (10) different shades, they are said to be very radiant, full coverage, and crease proof with all day wear!

The (10 shades) will be available for all skin tones, and are fragrance free.The concealers range from light to dark in both pink and yellow undertones. 

The packaging will be similar to Nars Lip glosses as shown in the pic below:

Color of the year 2013

Starting Last year Sephora and Patone united together to discover the color that would be the "Color of the Year."

Last year it was orange, from beautiful nail polishes to lip sticks, and lip pencils with an orange hue.

Hair love

When it comes to hair sprays I try my hardest to a avoid using it. The way it makes my hair feel stiff is not something that makes me want to curl wave or style my hair! I did my research and found the holy grail of hair sprays! Loreal's Elnett Satin hair spray!!! It is a ultra fine spray that does not leave your hair stiff and gross after using. It is so light weight that if u curled or waved your hair, sprayed and brushed your hair right after all you would have left is soft hair and shine!

Another Lip Product Review

I know Another lip review right? Well I have a current obsession with everything lips!

So the product that is being moved around from purse to purse is Nivea's new Lip Butter! It comes

in a cute little tin. There are (4 different flavors: Caramel Creme kiss, Raspberry Rose kiss, Smooth kiss, and Vanilla Macadamia kiss.) Not only does it smell great, it is creamy and lasts a long time on your lips. It is not meant to absorb but to protect your lips for this cold weather, and the dry 

weather coming soon. (depending on where u live ;) 

It comes in a cute tin so you can throw it anywhere. It can be found at your local drugstores and retail for ($3.00)

RiRi+Mac Cosmetics

Yes! Word is out the bad girl Rihanna and Mac cosmetics are teaming up to make her own line.
The Line is supposed to debut later this year!

The Line will include eye shadows, lip sticks, false lashes, and maybe even a holiday match up.

Here some extra Info from WWD:

"The four collections, to be known as RiRi [Hearts] MAC, will break throughout 2013, and current plans call for 31 stockkeeping units. In another first, MAC is calling Rihanna, who turns 25 years old today, a “creative partner” rather than a collaborator. Her name will appear on the packaging, and her signature will be embossed on the RiRi Woo lipstick case and on the bullets of the summer lipsticks, as well as several of the fall and holiday pieces.

RiRi Woo will be sold at the Rihanna concerts and online, and a summer collection will follow, which will also be sold online. A third will land in brick-and-mortar stores for fall, and there will be an on-counter holiday collection. 

The signature piece of the lineup, RiRi Woo, will be sold with all four collections. The summer collection also includes two additional lipsticks, a Lustre Drops shade and a powder blush duo. Fall’s 16 sku’s include four lipsticks, a deeply pigmented Lipglass version of RiRi Woo, two multishade eye shadow palettes and false lashes. (“She likes to wear two pairs at a time,” said Jennifer Balbier, MAC’s senior vice president of global product development, in an aside.) How to get the Perfect Red Lip

Be daring today! Try a red lip and whatever the weathers like dress u, cause you never need a reason to dress up and if you do...well what better reason to dress up then for yourself!

First Step to get the Perfect Red Lip- Apply some lip balm generously all over your lips. You want to do this because dry cracked lips will not hold color for a long time! (Dab off extra moisture with a tissue)

Second Step- Outline! Grab your Lip liner that is the closest shade to the red lip you are wearing (this helps feathering, and the lip stick from bleeding) If you want to go with something more subtle then try a Invisible Lip liner! Here is a new one by Sally Hansen's available at ULTA ONLINE! ($6.99)

Third Step- Apply! Get the lip stick of your choice and apply all over your lip (You can use a lip brush like this one at Sephora online -Sephora) The lip brush just helps you have more control on how much color you want to apply and where. 

Fourth Step- Blend! Use your pinky to blend in the color

Fifth Step- Optional! Apply a lip gloss to give it an extra pop

Sixth and final step- Grab some concealer! Take some concealer and dab it around your lips! This will help the color from smearing all lover your face (eek) It also helps to make the red POP!   

(Note you can use these steps with any color)

Now I don't know about you, but I love when I can tell my hair is growing my nails are not brittle and my skin is glowing! Hay girl hayy! =)

Now you can put the best products on your hair and spend money on your nails and buy lotions for your skin but the only way your going to achieve all this, is by taking Vitamins! What is on the inside is what makes the outside beautiful! 

The one that I can recommend personally would have to be Hair Skin and Nails Vitamin, it is a all in one vitamin that helps with those three. 

It has Biotin, Lutein, Gelatin, and Amino Acids in it.

Biotin- Helps with the cell growth in hair, skin, and nails

Lutein- Helps to support skin hydration

Gelatin and Amino Acids- Combined are the building blocks of protein ( and we need protein to keep our nails, and hair strong, which helps with growth and repair. 

Keep in mind that there are many different brands and can be purchased at your local Walgreen's, Rite Aid, or any Super market that has a pharmacy.

When it comes to the studded cut off Levis its a trend that has become quite popular everywhere, especially on the stars. I have a feeling this trend will not be going away any time soon! Studs are showing up on everything from head to toe (literally) and with spring around the corner this is not a trend that is going to disappear! Are you going to wear this trend?

Lashes for the lash girl lovers

It's just a great mascara that gives ur lashes a great look, while curling them!

It is supposed to lift your lashes and give them a long lasting curl. The curvy brush is supposed to "instantly lift lashes for 90-degree curl and definition." The mascara a formulation has keratin to enhance the lashes and Shea butter to moisturizer and condition which helps in preventing breakage and help with the growth.

I have noticed that my lashes are fuller and have grown! Yay! It also doesn't have any sulfate, synthetic fragrances, synthetic dyes, petrochemicals, GMOs, and triclosan. In other words its safe enough to put in my lashes!

(DIY Time) Springs Hottest trend Flower Crowns

Flower Crowns have been seen a lot lately, from Lana Del Rey to Vanessa Hudgens it is a trend that will be around for a while .With spring around the corner and Cochella 2013 coming up why not make your own!

What you will need:
(These can be found at your local craft stores)

• 3 of your favorite types of flowers (enough for your crown) *TIP- When cutting the flowers leave 3 inches below the stem!*
• 2 -3 fillers (Also leave 3 inches below the stem for fillers) ex-*baby's breathe, or something like asters*
• wrapping wire
• floral rustic wire
• floral tape

Steps for Floral Crown:

• Measure your head with the rustic wire, and make sure you add lil more for some room
• Cut and twist the wire after measuring to make a full circle
•  Make bunches with 2 -3 flowers and 2-3 fillers, and wrap the stems together with the floral tape
• Lay the bunches on your base and start wrapping them around the base with the wrapping wire, laying them side by side until you go all the way around.
