MAC Summer Fashion Sets 2013 Lip Liners Addiction

Hello Hello my Sunday Beauties!

So I talked about Mac's Summer Fashion 2013 Set in my last posts, talking about their eyeshadow, nail lacquers, lipsticks, lip glosses, and well the last post on this collection Is the  Mac Lip Pencils

($15 USD / $18 CAD) with the same color theme.

They are available now online and will be available in MAC stores April 4, 2013 (North America) and May 2013 (for my International loves)

Who wouldn't love every lip stick to have a matching Lip liner! Well you dont have to look to far because this collection has that!

The Color shades:

Embrace Me: Vivid fuchsia pink

Heroine: Bright purple

Silly: Bright pink

Ablaze: Bright apricot

L/R- Embrace Me, Heroine, Silly, Ablaze

All four shades are really great, and all of the lip pencils do have a matte finish. They can be used to line, to fill in and to be somewhat like a primer for your lipstick.

The colors are just so vibrant, I love them, If I have to pick two favorites from the whole collection for I would choose Embrace Me, and Heroine.

XOXOXO- N

Mac Summer 2013 All about the Lips!

As promised I'm continuing my posts on Mac's Fashion Set Collection All about the lips!

The MAC Fashion Sets Collection for Summer 2013, just as the eyeshadows, and nail laquers, there are four  MAC Lipglasses  ($15 USD / $18 CAD) with the same color theme.

They are available now online and will be available in MAC stores April 4, 2013 (North America) and May 2013 (for my International loves)

They are all "Cream" textured meaning no shimmer to them at all, so expect a milkiness to them.

The Color shades include:

Embrace Me: Bright fuchsia

Heroine: Bright purple

Silly: Bright pink

Ablaze: Bright orange

L/R- Embrace Me, Heroine, Silly, Ablaze

If your not one to wear to bold of lipsticks like me, I usually tend to go with the glosses. Your still getting color yet it is not as showy as a lipstick. Be aware just as all the other Mac lip-glosses they are thick which is what I hear most when people talk about their Mac glosses, but it does have a longer lasting staying power because of that. (that's why I love them!!) These glosses are very consistent in the quality and pigmentation that they offer. They are medium pigmented, and have a smooth application. Wear them alone or be daring and wear them on top of lipstick. =)

MAC SUMMER 2013 FASHION SETS ALL ABOUT THE LIPS!

Happy Sunday loves! =)

Yesterday I mentioned Mac's Summer 2013 Fashion Sets, and talked about their nail lacquers, as well as their eye shadows for this great collection. Today it is all about the lips!

The MAC Fashion Sets Collection for Summer 2013, just as the eyeshadows, and nail laquers, there are four MAC Lipsticks ($15 USD / $18 CAD) with the same color theme.

They are available now online and will be available in MAC stores April 4, 2013 (North America) and May 2013 (for my International loves)

The lipsticks are creamy, smell so great (same as all the other Mac lip products). They are matte, lightweight, and long lasting with a very rich pigment to all of them. YAY!

The Color Shades Are:

Embrace Me: Vivid, fuchsia pink
Heroine: Bright, violet purple
Silly: Bright baby pink
Ablaze: Bold apricot

The colors as shown below are just gorgeous, they are bright and vibrant which is perfect for this Summer. They apply so smoothly. Did I mention that they are long lasting? Well pucker up you lipstick lovers cause these are just amazingly pigmented. Choosing one color is tough they all have their own unique fun to them. There is something about each color that makes you want to try yes the violet purple might not be the first one you want to rush to mac and buy but it is summer anything goes, and if you are daring enough do not over look the colors.

2 MORE DAYS TILL THE WEEKEND!

HAPPY WEDNESDAY LOVES!!!

HERE IS SOME MUSIC TO KEEP YOU GOING!

DIY SPRING TREND! HAIR CHALKING

Are you planning on going to a music festival, parties, or just want to lighten up your look by doing something temporary and fun?

Well now that it's spring why not do the trend that is ever so popular on many celebrities, and just continues to be ever so famous fun trend...Coloring the ends of your hair with bright color!

Now I'm not one that likes to color my hair because with all that I already put my hair through the last thing I want to do is damage my hair even more!

So why not Chalk your hair...yes you read that right! CHALK your Hair!

WHERE TO/ and WHAT?

Go to any craft store you go to should have chalk, like Joann's, or Michaels and mention to a sales person if your unsure what your looking for that you want to get soft chalk (NOTE** NOT OIL PASTELS) . If you do not have a craft store near you then try this website Hair Chalk! These are actually the best that I have tried they are called Sennelier Soft Pastels and are so easy to apply to hair. Note* Look for bright colors! On the website these are 3 colors I picked! “Cobalt violet 361″ “Steel blue 712″“Carmine 052"

HOW TO:
Step 1: Wet piece of hair. Note- if you have blonde hair I do not suggest wetting your hair as it will be harder to get the color out. **Use dish soap if regular shampoo is not working for removal.
Step 2: Prepare color chalk. Feel free to mix colors to get the exact shade you are going for.

Step 3: Rub chalk over pieces of hair. Work with about 1 inch of hair at a time. This technique looks better when the color is placed sporadically and only a few inches from tip.

Step 4: Allow hair to dry
Step 5: Curl Hair with Iron or put your hair in a high bun
Step 6: Show off your colorful hair

HAPPY HAIR CHALKING

United Scents Of America Review!

Hello My Loves!

So a couple days ago I had mentioned that I contacted a company called United Scents of America and one of the owners of the company Sam was so sweet to do this collaboration with me. ***Even though I did not purchase the products in this review are true and honest review of how I felt about the products.***

United Scents of America is a company that makes Perfume and Soy Candles. Each scent is based off of  the States, and so far they have 7 scents and candles which are Hawaii, New York, California, New Jersey, Texas, Florida, and Massachusetts.

This company was created by two women Samantha and Sasha who worked many years in fragrance distribution. This is what they have to say about their company. " Our line of state inspired fragrances meant to evoke memories through scent. Our goal became to make our scents personal to the customer, not ourselves, and to remind people of where they came from. We hope our fragrances will bring people back to fond childhood memories, favorite vacations or any time in their life that they can associate to a special place. We hope it inspires people to travel within the United States to places they have always dreamed of visiting."

When I first found out about this company while browsing online I thought it had the cutest concept! I was so excited to try these!

All bottles are (1.7oz) for $56.00 (USD) and the candles are 7 oz and retail for $26.00 (USD)
So how do you know which one to choose? Are you scared that you will pick one that just does not fit you? well that is why they sell these Samples (as pictured below) the Samples pack is $12.00 (USD) and I can assure you that when you get the samples pack it is going to be so hard to pick just one that you love.

Let me tell you these are long lasting, I have a ton of perfume but none that have lasted as long as these.

Bellow are some descriptions to each scent on what they smell like but let me tell you you need to let your nose do the sniffing to really get a idea of just how good these are!

Hawaii
Top- pink pulmeria, Night- blooming jamsine
Heart- golden pinapple, papaya
Bottom- sweet coconut palm

TEXAS
Top- ruby red orange
Heart- red cedar
Bottom- white musk, cedar leaf. and amber

Massachusetts
Top- bergamont, sage, lemon zest
Heart- tart cranberry, jasmine
Heart- white musk, tobacco leaf and northern red oak

New York
Top- apple, violet, ozone, melon, cortland apple, lime, cyclamen and rosewood
Heart- jasmine, basil, lily
Bottom- peach and kiwi

California
Top- fresh cut coconut
Heart- eucalptus
Bottom- vanilla bean

New Jersey
Top- fresh buttered popcorn
Heart- cotton candy, caramel, and coconut
Bottom- vanilla extract, peach, patchouli and musk

If you asked me which one was my favorite...to be honest they are all so lovely that I can not pick one. I do love California and if I did have to purchase one right now I would pick that one as my first then another to make a little state of perfume collection!
Not only do I love the perfume but my husband did too and knowing that there are candle versions of these scents is also an exciting thought that I'm going to have to buy some candles for my home.

You can purchase online at their website- United Scents of America!
They also have a store list on their website
so check it out!

Must add that customer service is always important and they were prompt and very sweet!

This palette features gorgeous resort-inspired hues, sun-soaked bronzes and glowing, shimmery textures. Available now from Too Faced!!! What are you waiting for lets looked sun kissed with this palette together!

I already love these eyeshadow palettes from Too Faced, and now that they have this new metal packaging, makes it 10 times better. This palette is so great it  even features a mirror on the interior lid! The packaging is chic and smooth, and secure... did I mention so cute as well!?

Just as all the other Too Faced Eye Shadow Collections, this palette is divided into three eyeshadow “sets”: DayClassic and Fashion.  Each of the rows do contains a light, mid-tone and deep shade that are coordinated to create individual looks, but ofcourse playing around with all the colors is what is most fun about eyeshadow palettes.

A plus about this palette is much like other eyeshadow palettes it comes with a how-to booklet of looks. Making it easy, so you can follow along with too if you need some extra inspiration!

Great pigmentation, but I would say if your going to go out and buy this make sure you have and use a primer...especially in the summer, if your looking for all day wear! Bendable and build-able! YAY!

I think my favorite color from this palette would be mermaid so pretty!

    Pass the Tarte please!

    Hi loves!
Hope you all are having an AMAZING Weekend + Monday!
Lets jump into the makeup talk!
I first discovered Tarte a couple years ago when my boss gave me a gift bag that had a mini lip stain in it from Tarte. I thought to myself "Wow how have I not tried this brand...I'm always at Sephora?!!"
Ever since then I have been hooked, and love to try their products! For spring Tarte added a quad color eye-shadows! Secret Garden is the new to the Tarte Beauty and The Box Amazonian Clay Eye Shadow Quad line up. [$22 USD/ $26 CAD]

The eyeshadow palettes have four strips of color and the boxes are palm sized.
Secret Gardem is color scheme is gold and olive green, soo pretty and perfect for spring!
This is what Tarte Claims their amazonian makeup does  "Amazonian makeup makes is suitable for all skin types, because it minimizes oil, hydrates skin, improves the skin, and gives the skin an overall smoother and more even appearance."
So having Amazonian Clay infused in the eyeshadow will help reduce the oils on the surface and help to improve the texture of the skin making it a smooth application for long wear.

How cute is the packaging!! I love the floral design I think it is so spring and cute! Would have been better if inside had a mirror but it is not the end of the world!

Yay no parabens, phthalates, mineral oils, fragrances, and sodium laruyl sulfate making it great for everyone even the girls who are sensitive to makeup!
These eyeshadows have great pigmentation just like Tarte's fabulous blushes. Smooth, almost buttery texture.

    The shades include

    • Sprout: Pale, yellow gold
    • Goldenrod: Warm, golden bronze
    • Fern: Mid-tone, olive green
    • Vine: Deep, olive brown

    This is available at :

    Price:
    $22 (USD) $26 (CAD)

    Are you feeling this?

    XOXOXO- N
